Alice In Wonderland Royal World Premiere

Things got wet and down-right wacky as Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter braved the rain for the Royal premiere of Alice In Wonderland last night…
London’s Leicester Square may have been drenched with rain, but it didn’t stop the stars of Tim Burton’s new Alice In Wonderland movie from taking to the appropriately green ‘red carpet’ for the Royal World Premiere.
With adoring fans out in force (a trio enthusiastically dressed as Johnny Depp’s most famous characters - Edward Scissor Hands, Captain Jack and his latest, the Mad Hatter) Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Johnny Depp and the whole cast including Barbara Windsor and Matt Lucas donned their umbrellas to attend the very important date.
With a wacky dress-sense at the most sober of occasions, Helena Bonham Carter lead the pack of suitably eccentric ensembles with her jagged white dress, accessorised with a dangling heart, mini tiara and queen of hearts clutch. Anne Hathaway’s dress - worryingly probably not worn in jest - was curiouser still, resembling bad 1990s chain-mail.
But singer Paloma Faith (who actually has been attending a lot of random events lately?!) has to be given winner status for wacky-wear with her unusually tall head piece. Curiouser and curiouser…!
Alice In Wonderland hits cinemas nationwide next Friday 5 March - excepting Odeon cinemas of course, after their little scufuffle with Disney!
