Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem wed in secret ceremony

LF salutes the celebrity couple who have succeeded in marrying quietly in the Bahamas. Penelope wore a John Galliano dress for the ceremony which was limited to close family members only. Despite having allegedly being together since 2007, the Spanish couple only became an official item in May.
Penelope, 36, and Javier, 41, originally met 20 years ago whilst appearing in Spanish film Jamon Jamon. They were reunited in 2007 in Woody Allen's Vicky Christina Barcelona in which they sizzled alongside each other and which won Penelope a Best Supporting Oscar. Javier also won an Oscar in the previous year for his role in No Country For Old Men. Penelope, who previously dated Tom Cruise and Matthew McConaughey, certainly knows a good-looking guy when she sees one but we think that Bardem - who has more than a touch of the Robert Downey Jr about him - definitely has the edge. Well done Pen!
