Preen to launch children’s line

Uber cool fashion label Preen is set to launch it’s first ever children’s collection - Mini Preen - next spring, hot on the heels of fellow Brit designers Paul Smith and Issa…
Inspired by the fact that they can’t find anything hot and hip enough to clothe their two-year old daughter Fauve, the designer duo behind Preen - Justin Thornton and Thea Braganza - have decided to launch Mini Preen.
Debuting in the Preen Spring 2011 collection, Mini Preen is set to cause quite a stir in the cool kidswear market, as Justin says, “Thea would like to literally do tiny versions of our clothes - like Mini Preen, minus the cocktails dresses!”
Mini Preen will have some stiff competition mind, as both Paul Smith and Issa launch their own children’s wear collections in September and November respectively.
With Mini Preen’s undoubted cool factor, the pretty printed dresses from Baby Issa, and the impeccably funky style running through Paul Smith Junior (see the campaign video below) - is anyone else worried that our kids will be a lot cooler than us soon?!
